~ In Memoriam ~

Dr. Tao Ping-Shiang

   

This was during a ceremony in Shri-Jung Taipei, Taiwan (1990s)                        Tao P.S. making a speech during the same occasion.

 

It is with deep sadness that we make this announcement.  In early December 2006, Dr. Tao Ping-Shiang passed away peacefully in his sleep in Columbus, Ohio.  He was in his early 90s.  He was not only a classmate, he was an old and dear friend.  He will be greatly missed.

 
We were fortunate to have him share his art with us during the many summers he spent in New York from the 1980s through the 1990s.  

For those who do not know him, Dr. Tao Ping-Shiang was an acupuncturist and a highly accomplished master of Internal Chinese Martial Arts.
